Rob
Miller... The double edged bladesmith...... |
| Collectors
of bespoke arms will probably be aware of Rob Miller the
bladesmith. Based on the Isle Of Skye and working under
the name of castle keep, Rob has been making incredibly
well crafted swords and edged tools for many years now.
Prior to this however Rob had another claim to fame. He
was a member of the Punk band Amebix. The band now have
their own dedicated website. Friends, the curious or visitors
to Robs Workshop should take a peek at both of the sites. |

Nazis
in Suffolk |
|
| Shortly
after the evacuation of British troops from Dunkirk in
1940, a very mysterious incident occurred on an isolated
shingle bank, 15 miles east of Ipswich, on the Suffolk
coast. The official records are still held under the official
secrets act and under Churchill’s direct orders
are not due to be released until 2021. So what did happen
at “Shingle Street” that had to be kept so
secret? A few eye witness’s are still alive and
recount stories of washed up charred bodies, fires at
sea and a lot of gunfire. Could it have been a small “commando”
style invasion by the Nazis? It makes a great deal of
sense when you look at the various other military instillations
nearby. One of which was the experimental Radar base at
Bawdsey. Whatever did happen that night in 1940 soldiers
bodies were certainly buried nearby “en mass”
If you want to read more there is lots of
websites. Judging by the amount of aggressively driven
all black BMW urban assault vehicles in the area, I do
wonder if one or two invaders slipped the net… |
